NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE
Blending Traditional Medicine with Modern Scientific Advances
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct healthcare profession that focuses on promoting and restoring optimal health for patients. Licensed naturopathic doctors (ND) combine modern, cutting-edge scientific advancements with traditional methods and practices to diagnose and treat their patients from a holistic perspective. NDs are guided by six principles when treating patients.
NDs are experts in natural treatment options for patients. The training received during the 4-year accredited, doctoral-level naturopathic medical program is similar to that of our MD and DO colleagues, but also includes extensive training in natural therapies like clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, and others.
